bio
CHANG Tengyuan
Born in Kaohsiung in 1983, graduated from the Institute of Plastic Arts at Tainan University of the Arts in 2011, obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. Continuously presenting works in Taiwan and internationally, solo exhibitions have been held in various cities and venues including Kaohsiung City Art Museum, Chiayi Art Museum, Taipei, Tokyo, Osaka, Busan, Paris, etc. Participated in the Taipei Biennial, Taiwan Biennial, as well as group exhibitions at Asian Art Center, J. P. Art Center, and Tang Contemporary Art Center. Chang Tengyuan's creative focus is on the concept of "archeology of the apocalypse," creating a virtual doomsday story through a fictional approach. Utilizing techniques such as painting, animated installations, and mixed media as carriers of its concept. Through the unique concept of "editing" in creation, visual elements are symbolized, reconstructed, and rearranged to capture the boundaries between reality and the virtual world.

1983年出生於高雄，2011年於台南藝術大學的造型藝術研究所畢業，取得藝術碩士學位（MFA），作品在台灣及國際上持續發表，個展展出地點及城市包括高雄市立美術館、嘉義美術館、台北、東京、大阪、釜山、巴黎等，曾參與台北雙年展、台灣雙年展，以及在亞洲藝術中心、琢璞藝術中心與唐人當代藝術中心的聯展展出。張騰遠的創作主軸以末日考古為概念， 透過架空的手法，創造一個虛擬的末日故事，以平面繪畫、動畫空間裝置以及複合媒材等作為其概念的承載體，並透過在創作上特有的『編輯』概念，將視覺元素符號化，重新建構、編排，以捕捉現實與虛擬的邊界的樣貌。
